Surfing: Despite the fact that Austria is a land-locked country, 
surfing has become increasingly popular since the 1970s. Surfing 
(windglider category, now mistral) has been an Olympic discipline 
since 1984. Organised as part of the Austrian Sailing Federation 
(OeSV) in Vienna.
