b. Traiskirchen (Lower Austria), March 23, 1905, 
d. Zell am See (Salzburg), Feb. 23, 1995, civil engineer, 
entrepreneur. 1936 founded a company specializing in road 
construction, which under his leadership developed into one of the 
largest groups of firms in Austria. Honorary President of the Austrian 
Society for Road Construction, founding member of the Austrian 
Automobile Club  OeAMTC.
