b. Vienna, June 26, 1946, actor, manager and artistic director, 
writer; life partner of Christiane  Hoerbiger. From 1967 acted in 
Graz, Berne, Klagenfurt, Duesseldorf, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, 1972/1973 
at the Vienna Volkstheater; 1973-1977 manager and artistic director of 
the Theater im Burgenland, 1977-1981 main theatre producer at the 
Stadttheater Klagenfurt; 1982-1993 manager and until 1994 artistic 
director, 1994 artistic producer of the summer festival "Fest in 
Hellbrunn" (Salzburg); since 1999 chief producer of the Perchtoldsdorf 
Summer Festival (Lower Austria), has worked for radio and television; 
since 1975 also active as a writer.
