d. Vienna, April 3, 1970, musicologist. From 1926 to 1931
archivist and teacher at the Mozarteum in Salzburg; from 1935
free-lance writer, author of musicological studies in Vienna; from
1945 to 1948 lecturer and professor at the Vienna Academy of Music.
