!!!Teuerungsunruhen 1911

Price Riots of 1911, demonstrations in front of the Vienna town hall 
on September 17, 1911. Following clashes with the police, the 
"Deutschmeister" infantry regiment was called to 
re-establish order; other riots ensued in front of the workers´ 
home in Ottakring (16%%sup th/%  district of Vienna), where the 
Social-Democrat directors of the home lost control of the crowd. The 
riots were triggered by the low income of the workers.
