Teyber, Matthaeus, b. Weinzettel (Lower Austria), around 1711, 
d. Vienna, Sept. 6, 1785, violinist and from 1757 court 
musician; father of Elisabeth  Teyber, Anton  Teyber, Franz  Teyber 
and Therese  Teyber, all of whom were also important musicians. Friend 
of the Mozart family from 1773.
