d. Vienna, July 4, 1954, theologian, teacher at the Sankt Gabriel 
missionary centre (Moedling, Lower Austria) and at the University of 
Vienna. Founder and Secretary-General of the Vienna Catholic Academy 
(1945), initiated international missionary congresses, director of the 
Missiological Institute of the Archdiocese of Vienna.
