d. Au, June 4, master builder; brother of Michael  Thumb, with 
whom he occasionally collaborated, and uncle of Peter  Thumb; 
representative of the   Vorarlberg School.

Germany: Hofen-Friedrichshafen priory church, 1695-1700; from 
1716 participated in building the Weingarten collegiate church.
