Timelkam, Upper Austria, market town in the district of Voecklabruck, 
alt. 454 m, pop. 5,723, 
area 18.09 km%%sup 2/%, situated at the confluence of the 
Duerre Ager River and the Voeckla River at the southern fringe of the 
Hausruck Mountains. - Road maintenance depot, thermal station with 
Timelkam 2 district heating plant (built in 1962, 60 MW) and 
Timelkam 3 (built in 1974, 80 MW gas turbine, waste heat 
utilization in 26 MW steam turbine); monastery of the Salesians 
of Don Bosco; 1,488 gainfully employed people (1991); industry and 
trade: knitwear, production of mattresses, factory for lighting 
fixtures (in construction), industrial assembling, building trade. - 
Baroque parish church (1733) with altar painting by M. Altomonte; toll 
tower (1610).
