Trautmannsdorf an der Leitha, market town in the district of Bruck an 
der Leitha, alt. 168 m, pop. 2,529, 
area 35.39 km%%sup 2/%, situated on the Leitha canal on the 
eastern fringe of the Vienna Basin. - Canning factories (fish, fruit). 
- Parish church with Gothic core, altered in Baroque style 
(1718-1722), organ (1728), Mount of Olives relief in traditional local 
style (15%%sup th/%  century), tombstones (15%%sup th/% 
-17%%sup th/%  century); palace (documented mention in 1292): 
re-modelled in Classicist style (around 1817) with "Chinese 
room"; Virgin Mary column (1708).
