Treffz, Henriette (real name: Chalupetzky, married name: Strauss), b. Vienna, July 1, 1818, 
d. Vienna, April 8, 1878, singer; 1862 first wife of Johann  
Strauss the Younger. One of the most important soubrettes of her time. 
Performed on numerous Viennese stages.
