alt. 755 m, pop. 1,762, 
area 134.26 km%%sup 2/%, summer tourist resort (49,148 
overnight stays in 1992) situated on the Stuebmingbach stream at the 
southeastern foot of the Hochschwab mountain. - Lanzen-Turnau 
airfield, bakery, soft drinks production, hand weaving, carrier, 
garage. - Parish church with Romanesque core and Gothic and Baroque 
alterations: late Gothic fresco (around 1520-1530), Rococo high altar 
(around 1760-1770) with altar painting by J. A. Moelk.
