!!!Turnerbund, Österreichischer, ÖTB

Turnerbund, Oesterreichischer, (OeTB), sports association founded in 
1952 with headquarters in Linz, consisting of those former 
associations of the  Deutscher Turnerbund which were not disbanded in 
1919 and of a large number of new organisations (sports and gymnastic 
clubs). Following the ideas of F. L. Jahn, the 
Oesterreichischer Turnerbund promotes gymnastics as a branch of 
physical education that is conducive to general physical fitness.
