d. Gutenstein (Lower Austria), June 22, 1929. Actor and writer. 1873 
to 1984 at the Vienna Stadttheater, 1884 to 1888 at the Burgtheater, 
then at the Volkstheater and the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna; 
played Viennese popular characters.
