UNESCO Commission, Austrian, ACU, founded in 1949 after Austria's 
admission in 1948 to UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, 
and Cultural Organization), active since 1950/51, consists of 120 
representative personalities from public life (two-thirds) and certain 
professions (one-third) appointed by the Federal Ministry of 
Education, Science and Culture. Works in technical committees, working 
groups and teams  World Heritage List.

Commissions, monthly).
