Voecklabruck, alt. 477 m, pop. 1,314, 
area 26.02 km%%sup 2/%, summer tourist resort (129,537 
overnight stays in 1992) and bathing resort at the southwestern end of 
Lake Attersee; ship landing stage. - Forestry inspectorate of the 
District Commission, lake-shore bathing, transformer station; 
chemical-pharmaceutical factory. - Parish church with high altar 
(17%%sup th/%  century), late Gothic choir and late Baroque nave 
and aisles, late Gothic Madonna and tabernacle, Baroque pulpit built 
from parts of the former Mondsee pulpit (around 1700).
