Unterweissenbach, Upper Austria, market town in the district of 
Freistadt, alt. 640 m, pop. 2468, 
area 48.68 km%%sup 2/%, on Kleine Naarn stream, in the 
eastern Muehlviertel region; tourist area - Local court, forest guard 
and youth welfare in the district commission of Freistadt; building 
industry, carpentry, production of work clothes. - Parish church 
(1500) with nave (Romanesque core) and Gothic choir (2%%sup nd/%  half 
of 14%%sup th/%  century), neo-Gothic interior, organ (1769); in 
the vicinity, Greinerschlag high moor; erratic blocks, pitch 
oilstones; Karling hammer mill (open-air museum).
