!!!Urheberrecht

Copyright, in Austria regulated by the Copyright Act dating from 1936.
It protects works of literature (including computer programmes),
music, the fine arts and cinematic art, if they are
"characteristic intellectual creations" (original works and
adaptations). Copyright is especially limited by "free rights of
use" (e.g. reproduction for private use). The general period of
copyright protection terminates 70 years after the owner's death, in
the case of cinematographic works after 50 years.
