Ursuleac, Viorica, b. Chernovtsy, Ukraine (then Czernowitz), March 26, 1894, 
d. Ehrwald (Tyrol), Oct. 23, 1985, Kammersaengerin* (dramatic 
soprano); wife of C.  Krauss. 1930-1934 member of the Vienna State 
Opera; 1937-1945 at the Salzburg Festival. After 1945 guest 
appearances at the Vienna State Opera. Famous for her interpretations 
of R. Strauss.
