Ursuline Sisters, Roman Catholic religious order of women dedicated to 
the education of girls, founded at Brescia, Italy, in 1535. Autonomous 
convents and convents belonging to the German Federation are located 
in Graz and Innsbruck; the convents in Vienna, Klagenfurt, 
Salzburg-Glasenbach and Leoben (provincialate) belong to the "Roman 
Union" of Ursuline convents.
