Lebte ab 1945 in Österreich, war Schüler von [Fritz Wotruba|Biographien/Wotruba,_Fritz], lehrte ab 1961 an der Wiener Akademie; schuf spontan modellierte "imaginäre" Figurationen, "Knorpelfiguren" in Holz, Stein und Metall, als äußerst vereinfachte menschliche Idealbilder. 1962 Österreichischer Staatspreis.
