Valencak, Hannelore (real name: H. Mayer), b. Donawitz (Styria), 
Jan. 23, 1929, writer, author of books for young people. Metallurgist 
in Styrian steel works, from 1962 employed at the patent office in 
Vienna. From 1975 free-lance writer. Combining different levels of 
time and consciousness in her texts ("Zuflucht hinter der Zeit", 1967, 
new edition under the title of "Das Fenster zum Sommer", 1977) she 
gives insights into female psychology.
