Veitsch Plateau, Styria, karstified limestone plateau in the Northern 
Limestone Alps, between Seebergsattel saddle (alt. 1,253 m) and 
the upper Muerztal valley, in the area of the Hohe Veitsch, altitude 
1,981 m. Refuge: Graf-Meran House (alt. 1,836 m); shelters: 
Veitschalmhuetten (alt. 1,451 m).
