Vogl, Johann Michael, b. Ennsdorf (Lower Austria), Aug. 10, 1768, 
d. Vienna, Nov. 19, 1840, singer (baritone). Friend of F. X.  
Suessmayer in Kremsmuenster; in 1786 travelled with him to Vienna, 
1795-1822 at the Vienna Court Opera. Promoter and friend of F.  
Schubert; sang many of his songs for the first time. Schubert's songs 
op. 6 were dedicated to him.
