Vorderstoder, Upper Austria, municipality in the district of Kirchberg 
an der Krems, alt. 810 m, pop. 739, area 37.11 km%%sup 2/%, 
bi-seasonal tourism (56,761 overnight stays in 1992), located between 
the Steyr valley and the Teichl valley. - Late Gothic parish church 
(1507) with high altar (1745), altar painting by M. J. Schmidt 
(around 1770) and late Gothic Madonna (beginning of the 16%%sup th/% 
 century). Wayside chapel with late Gothic Madonna (approx. 
1490-1500).
