Votzi, Josef, b. Korneuburg (Lower Austria), Jan. 26, 1955, 
journalist. 1975-1976 press officer of the Oesterreichische 
Hochschuelerschaft (Austrian National Union of Students, OeH), then 
Secretary-General of the political students organisation 
Oesterreichische Studentenunion ("Austrian Students Union", 
OeSU) and editor-in-chief of its publication OeSU-Report. From 1978 
editor at the weekly magazine "profil" and from 1992 
editor-in-chief; 1997 switched to the weekly magazine 
"News"; until 1998 publisher of "News", since then 
editor-in-chief.
