Woellersdorf-Steinabrueckl, Lower Austria, market town in the district 
of Wiener Neustadt, alt. 315 m, pop. 3,190, area 
14,46 km%%sup 2/%, industrial and commercial centre on the River 
Piesting in the Steinfeld Plain. - Immaculata Monastery of the Sisters 
of the Divine Word, ground water works of the City of Vienna; cultural 
centre; industrial centre in the hamlet of Feuerwerksanstalt (named 
after a World War I ammunition factory) with plastics-processing 
industry (packaging materials), concrete works, metal and wood 
processing. 1933-1938 detention camp. - Parish church with Gothic 
core, altered in the second half of the 18%%sup th/%  century, Rococo 
pulpit (18%%sup th/%  century), altarpieces made by the circle of A. 
F. Maulbertsch; Bronze Age and Roman finds; parish church in 
Steinabrueckl (1832).
