Wuermlach, Carinthia, village in the district of Hermagor, alt. 697 m, 
in the upper Gailtal valley, cadastral district of the market town of 
Koetschach-Mauthen. - Late-Gothic parish church, interior 18%%sup th/% 
 - 20%%sup th/%  century. Weildegg Castle (16%%sup th/%  century); 
ruins (first documented mention 1264, in decay since the 16%%sup th/%  
century); Weidenburg Castle (16%%sup th/%  century), in possession of 
the family of the painter J. F.  Fromiller from 1630 until the 
middle of the 18%%sup th/%  century.
