d. Stegersbach, Dec. 27, 1979, inn-keeper and politician (OeVP, 
Austrian People´s Party). 1927-1930 member of the Landtag of 
Burgenland, 1930-1931 Christian Socialist member of the Nationalrat, 
1930-1936 and 1945-1956 Landesrat, 1956-1961 Landeshauptmann of 
Burgenland.
