Wallack, Franz (Friedrich), b. Vienna, Aug. 24, 1887, 
d. St. Johann im Pongau (province of Salzburg), Oct. 31, 
1966. Engineer. Planned the  Grossglockner-Hochalpenstrasse 
(1930-1935), the Gerlos-mountain road (1963) as well as other alpine 
roads, cable railways and power stations.
