Wallern an der Trattnach, Upper Austria, market town in the district 
of Grieskirchen, alt. 298 m, pop. 2,618, area 
14.64 km%%sup 2/%, north-west of Wels, located at the confluence 
of the Trattnach and the Innbach rivers. - Drinking-water reservoir; 
manufacture of upholstered furniture, wood-working industry, 
pipe-laying business. - Protestant church (1851-1853), Catholic parish 
church (first documented mention 815) in Josephinian style, extended 
in 1884.
