Wallner, Leo, b. Amstetten (Lower Austria), Nov. 4, 1935. 
Manager. Studied economics in Vienna. 1957-1960 chairman of the 
Austrian Students´ Union; from 1964 economic advisor to Federal 
Chancellor J.  Klaus. From 1968 general director of the  Casinos 
Austria AG, which he raised to the status of one of the largest 
enterprises in this field worldwide. Since 1990 President of the 
Austrian Olympic Committee and since 1998 member of the International 
Olympic Committee.
