d. Vienna, 30. 9.1994. Railway engineer and politician (Austrian 
People's Party, OeVP). 1952 president of the Railway Administration at 
Villach, 1958 chairman of the OeVP Association of Employees of 
Carinthia, 1956-1966 member of the Nationalrat, 1966-1970 Federal 
Minister of Transport and Nationalised Companies.
