!!!Weißkunig

Weisskunig, unfinished allegorical "autobiography" of 
Emperor  Maximilian I, the "white King" (in the 
heraldic sense), revised by M.  Treitzsaurwein in 1517; it is a 
combination of heroic legend, chronicle and princes´ code; 
consists of three parts and tells of Friedrich III, the old 
Weisskunig, his courtship and being crowned emperor as well as the 
birth, childhood and youth of the young Weisskunig, his reign and 
heroic deeds in war; ends abruptly with the battle near Vicenza 
(Italy) in 1513.
