Weidmann, Franz Seraph, b. Vienna, Feb. 1, 1790, 
d. Vienna, Jan. 28, 1867. Actor, poet, dramatist and 
topographer. Nephew of Paul  Weidmann, at the Burgtheater until 1819; 
author of historical dramas ("Mathias Corvinus, Koenig von 
Ungarn", 1815) and works on local history and geography.
