Weiermair, Peter, b. Steinhoering (Germany), April 22, 1944. 
Photojournalist. Studied German and art history in Innsbruck and 
Vienna, from 1964 numerous publications on photography and on the 
organisation of exhibitions. From 1980-1998 manager of the Frankfurter 
Kunstverein association, 1998-2001 director of the Salzburg Rupertinum 
(Landessammlungen/Provincial Collections), since 2001 head of the 
Gallery of Modern Art and of the Morandi Museum in Bologna (Italy).
