Weinbacher, Jakob, b. Vienna, Dec. 20, 1901, d. Vienna, 
June 15, 1985. Clergyman. 1950-1952 and 1961-1969 Vicar General 
in Vienna, 1962 appointed Suffragan Bishop. Imprisoned by the National 
Socialists, 1945 Canon of St. Stephen's in Vienna, until 1950 
director of the Caritas charitable organisation, 1952-1961 Rector of 
the Anima in Rome; President of the  Katholische Akademie Vienna.
