Weineck, Josef, b. Stockerau (Lower Austria), June 21, 1852, 
d. Vienna, July 12, 1919. Chemist. Took over the soap and candle 
factory founded by his father in 1830; numerous privileges for the 
production of soap, candles and fat, e.g. for the production of 
stearic acid in 1886 (fat hardening).
