349 m, pop. 1,125, area 28.48 km%%sup 2/%, on the Weitenbach 
stream ( Weitental Valley) in the southern Waldviertel Region. - Wood 
processing industry. - Gothic parish church, nave dating from the 
15%%sup th/%  century, choir from the 14%%sup th/%  century, Gothic 
frescoes and precious Gothic glass paintings (1370-1420), high altar 
(around 1640), grave monuments in Renaissance style, half-length Ecce 
Homo outside the choir, to the north (mid-15%%sup th/%  century); 
pillory (17%%sup th/%  century); sundials valley, planets trail.
