Weitental Valley, Lower Austria, north-western lateral valley of the 
Danube Valley in the south of Waldviertel Region; drained by 
Weitenbach stream, which rises near Gutenbrunn in the southern parts 
of Weinsberger Wald Plateau. The Weitental Valley winds through the 
Poeggstall depression (alt. 462 m), Weiten (alt. 349 m) and 
Leiben (alt. 356 m) towards the Danube Valley, where it ends at 
approximately the height of Melk.
