b. Linz (Upper Austria), April 7, 1956, track and field champion, 
decathlete and law graduate. Eight times Austrian decathlete champion, 
fourth rank in the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980, Austrian record 
and fifth rank in the European Championship in Athens in 1982.
