Weyer Land, Upper Austria, municipality in the district of Steyr-Land, 
alt. 417 m, pop. 2,397, area 219.36 km%%sup 2/%, large 
municipality in the Enns valley, tourism (91,594 overnight stays in 
1992, mainly summer tourism) and agriculture are the main sources of 
income, situated south of Weyer Markt; cadastral municipalities: 
Anger, Kleinreifling, Laussa, Nach der Enns, and Pichl. - 
Rehabilitation centre of the Pensions Insurance Institute for Workers, 
Schoenau/Kleinreifling and Weyer power stations operated by 
Ennskraftwerke AG, river power station operated by the Austrian 
Federal Railways (OeBB), road administration office; forestry, 
transport industry; museum of log-driving on the Enns river in  
Kastenreith.
