in 1992) and bathing resort on the eastern shore of Lake Attersee. - 
Agricultural school, wharf, observatory on Gahberg hill. -  
Lake-dwellings from the New Stone Age, remains of Roman mosaics and 
port, parish church, late Gothic hall church (around 1485), enlarged 
1933, frescoes (1952).
