!!!Wiener Moden-Zeitung

Wiener Moden-Zeitung, fashion magazine founded by W. Hebenstreit and 
Johann Schickh in Vienna in 1816; fashion topics were soon superseded 
by literature, art and theatre. It was renamed "Wiener Zeitschrift 
fuer Kunst, Literatur, Theater und Mode" (Vienna magazine for art, 
literature, theatre and fashion) in 1817. The magazine, which tried to 
circumvent the censorship of the Vormaerz period, had to cease 
publication in October 1848.
