eastern foot of the Rosaliengebirge Mountains. - Forestry services for 
torrent and avalanche control, festival area (annual jazz festival and 
other events); fruit wholesale and furniture businesses, building and 
construction industry, intensive fruit growing, strawberry fields. - 
First documented mention 1346; former Catholic parish church (16th 
century, alterations in the 17th and 18th century); St. Barbara 
parish church (1958-1962) with statue of the Saints (18th century).
