Wieser, Lojže, b. Klagenfurt (Carinthia), June 9, 1954, 
publisher. 1987 founded the Wieser-Verlag publishing company in 
Klagenfurt, with the object of helping important authors from central 
and southeastern Europe (e.g. D. Velikić, 
M. Krleža, I. Eoersi, I. Andrić) to become 
known in the German-speaking countries. In 1997 launched the series 
"Europa erlesen" (a literary voyage of discovery through 
European cities and regions).
