Die Auspendelgemeinde mit Gewerbe liegt im Hügelland nordöstlich von Pinkafeld.
Der Ortsteil Schreibersdorf wurde urkundlich erstmals 1388 als „Strebertorfh“ erwähnt, 1885–1921 ungarischer Ortsname „Borhegy“.
Sehenswert ist:
* Filialkirche hl. Erhard mit romanisch und gotischen Bauteilen (Renovierung 1840–42), Altar (1816–18) mit Barockfiguren.
