Wildberg, Lower Austria, part of the municipality of Irnfritz in the 
district of Horn, Renaissance castle above the River Taffa southeast 
of Messern, first documented mention 1135, extended in the 
16%%sup th/%century, important Protestant stronghold (printing shop) 
during the Reformation; also called "Castle of the Coat of Arms" 
because the striped shield shown on a Babenberg seal of 1230 is said 
to hail from the coat of arms of the Counts of 
Poigen-Rebgau-Hohenberg.
