Wilfan, Hubert, b. Feldkirchen (Carinthia), Feb. 14, 1922, 
sculptor. 1949-1952 studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with 
F.  Wotruba. Developed a highly individual conception of form, through 
which he attempts to include the expression of psychological elements 
in his sculpture, particularly in portrait busts (e.g. 
L. Bernstein, M. Chagall, O. Werner, B. Kreisky).
