Wittmann, Franz, Moebelwerkstaetten GmbH, furniture manufacturing 
company founded in 1873 with headquarters in Etsdorf am Kamp (Lower 
Austria). It produces high-quality chairs, sofas and beds and is 
particularly famous for its skilled handicraft. All furniture is 
designed by international artists. 170 employees, turnover (1999): 
approx. ATS 280 million, 70% of all products are exported.
